Mum and Dad come and visit me at UEA. Dad (walking with
a stick). ‘Went to a dance the other day. Everybody was such a good dancer, and
the professor made a good speech.’ (I’m walking through a downland track.)
‘You’d better teach them Chase Charlie!’ he said, running.
Climbing
up steps. I [illegible] up walls. Get Dad to remove an old mug and cup from a
coal bunker (indoors, like in council flats).
I’m looking at the attic hatch.
